Dreams are a universal human experience that can be described as a state of consciousness characterized by sensory, cognitive and emotional occurrences during sleep.they are stories and images that our minds create while we sleep. They can be entertaining, fun, romantic, disturbing, frightening, and sometimes bizarre.scientifically, we’re thought to dream between 3 and 6 times per night,It is thought that each dream lasts between 5 to 20 minutes.Dreaming can help you learn and develop long-term memories.Blind people dream more with other sensory components compared with sighted people.
From evidence and new research
methodologies, researchers have speculated that dreaming serves the following functions:
offline memory reprocessing, in which the brain consolidates learning and memory tasks and supports and records waking consciousness.a unique state of consciousness that incorporates experience of the present, processing of the past, and preparation for the future.Much that remains unknown about dreams. They are by nature difficult to study in a laboratory.
Now biblically Dreams are Deep divine insights or revelation of God’s agenda in our lives being unveiled in our sleep thereby explaining the past, guiding the present and preparing the Future (Joel 2:28).there is not age limit to dream, Joseph was 17 when God revealed to him his Destiny (Gen37:2).Dreams helps us focus in our heavenly race, it guides us to our colorful future we just have to be sensitive to catch the light of the message God is trying to pass across to us (Jer33:3). when a purpose of something is not known, abuse becomes inevitable, Dreams without direction is depression. because in life we’ll meet different personalities with different perspectives and they can dictate or manipulate you to either helping them accomplish their dream or giving you a false one to chase. (Jer 23:32). God’s word should be your best source in interpreting your dreams,as they are more of the supernatural (1cor 2:10). from age 13 u should have image of where you’re headed ,if u haven’t it’s not too late, as we might understand from the bible that Abraham have always dreamt of a child ,he held on to that till he was Old but never stop trusting God,keep his hopes high and God came through for him. So destiny can be delayed but it will surely come to pass (Jer 29:11). Faith is the key factor of DREAMS,is one thing to have dreams is another to believe what you’ve dreamt.key into your dreams, obey what God is saying to you (1 Sam15: 22) rather than tossing to and fro the vicissitude of life.
